Message: When I was on holiday in St Lucia in July 1997, I was invited to a late night boat trip around the islan by some friends. Around 2am the boat had engine problems and it came to a hault half way to our destination. All on board were partying and having a good, I was not drinking as I can not swim and feared the worst. Instead I was looking at the breath taking view of the dark mountain stiletto againist the night sky, when I suddenly saw a bright glowing ball falling from the sky and onto the mountain, it disappeared for about 4 or 5 seconds and then it appeared again for another 4/5 seconds before disappearing all together. The next day on land I watched the news egarly to see if this sighting would be mentioned but it wasn't, also when I was driving round the island with some frends I was looking for any signs of a fire on the land scape but nothing.
